SUMMER
HEAT
If, like me, you've been drinking a lot of water, that's a good thing, but remember that it also leaches vital nutrients out of your body. To replace them, know that the 5 essential ones are Calcium, Magnesium, Salt, Sugar, and Potassium.

Calcium needs to be with Magnesium and Magnesium needs to be with Calcium. Dolomite.......which contains the perfect amounts of each, is therefore the best way to get both.

Make sure your salt container announces the presence of IODINE (it'll say so on the box) and you should throw it out and get a new one, if that's missing.

Potassium can be found in Oranges, Bananas, Potatoes, and Raisins. I don't care for eating raisins plain or out of the box, so I keep them in a glass bowl in the refrigerator, covered by my favorite brandy.

I like to avoid heavy foods like meat and chicken, when it's hot, so I replace those with eggs, which contain plenty of Protein, lots of Iron, Zinc, B-vitamins, and the neuro-transmitter Choline.
